Who I Am

INSPIRING, SINCERE, PERSONAL & DEVOTED

My name is Melanie Cage and I am a Commonwealth Registered Marriage Celebrant which means I authorised to perform marriage ceremonies anywhere in Australia. Being a Civil Celebrant I can also perform, Baby/Child Namings, Renewal of Vows, Commitment Ceremonies, and Funerals or any other ceremony that you want. I am a proud supporter of the new same-sex marriage laws and look forward to performing ceremonies for all couples in love on their special day.

I live in Sydney's Western Suburbs which puts me in a great position to travel just about anywhere in or around Sydney to perform ceremonies. I am a mum of two beautiful girls. I am a people person and enjoy meeting new people. After being a Police Officer for the past 20 years I bring a great deal of life experience and knowledge to the role of Civil Celebrant.

I also love Gymnastics and have returned to competitions after 25 years. I am now competing on the Masters circuit. Its tough and challenging but I love it. 

I am excited to be now dedicating my time and energy to being a Full time Celebrant.

Whether you are planning  a wedding ceremony, naming day or other civil ceremony, I’m here to make sure that each and every ceremony I’m involved with is inspiring, extraordinary, and unforgettable. I am a Celebrant full time which means I am able to concentrate solely on my Celebrant work. 

If you have a crazy idea or theme for your ceremony I am open to just about anything so don't think you have to have a formal traditional ceremony. Remember its about what YOU want. I am devoted to making sure your special day is memorable.
